About Me

I am 53 years old, native from Argentina. Have played tennis al my life, on red clay during my years in Buenos Aires, and on hard court ever since living in the USA.  Played at Lilydale Tennis Club until it was closed, and now am back in the neighbourhood courts, specifically Langford and College Park, in Saint Anthony Park.  I do not like serving, so I do not play matches. I love training and keeping the ball in the court for long rallies. You can say I am a singles player, baseline being my favourite spot.  I have a great forehand, and will always need improvement for my backhand.  The best tennis I have played was when I could take the ball on the rise and smash it, compounding my power with that of the coming ball.  Great feeling!  Try it!
